LOFT provides customers with an extensive return policy. However, there are a few considerations and restrictions to keep in mind. Here are a few basics about the LOFT return policy.

  • Products must be unworn, unwashed, or defective.
  • You can return products by mail or at in-store locations, excluding products from the Maternity and Swimwear Collections.
  • You need to return products within 30-days of purchase, accompanied by proof of purchase.

Which Products Qualify for Return?

LOFT will only accept unworn, unwashed, or defective products for return. These products can be returned by mail or at in-store locations. However, LOFT will not accept products from the Maternity and Swimwear Collections.

Note: LOFT does not accept online purchase reimbursements at Ann Taylor, LOFT Outlet, or Ann Taylor Factory locations. Final sale products or products with a .77 or .88 ending price cannot be returned or exchanged.

How Long Do I Have to Return Products?

LOFT will credit product returns that are accompanied by the original proof of purchase, as long as they are received within 30 days of the transaction date. LOFT will reimburse in the original form of payment or a merchandise exchange at in-store locations.

Note: Product returns with the original proof of purchase that was completed more than 30 days after purchase will be reimbursed for the product’s current price in the form of merchandise credit or exchange.

What About Returns Without Proof of Purchase?

Product returns without proof of purchase will receive credit for the product’s current listing price in the form of a merchandise credit. Unfortunately, products without proof of purchase that are deemed Final Sale cannot be returned or exchanged.

Which Products Qualify for Return

What About Gift Returns?

LOFT will send an Online E-Gift Certificate for the amount paid by the sender for gift returns that are received within 30 days of the transaction date. Product credit for online reimbursements is issued via email as an E-Gift Certificate and requires a valid email address.

LOFT will start the exchange process, charge your payment method, and waive standard ground shipping charges. LOFT will also walk you through the process of returning products online or at in-store locations near you.

Return Products by Mail

You can return merchandise by mail or at in-store locations. There are two ways you can LOFT return products by mail, and we cover them in detail below.

Note: If you don’t use the prepaid LOFT return label, your return process might be delayed or paused. LOFT recommends using the prepaid return label for the fastest refund process.

Method One

  1. Visit the official LOFT Returns page to start the process and print your return label.
  2. Pack your products in the original condition and include your printed invoice.
  3. Attach your shipping return label to the package and ensure no other tracking markers are visible.
  4. Once satisfied, give your return package to your local USPS carrier or drop the package off at your nearest USPS store.

Method Two

  1. Visit the official LOFT Returns page to start the process and print your return label.
  2. Print your return invoice.
  3. Pack your products in the original condition and include your printed invoice.
  4. Select between USPS, UPS, FedEx, or another mail carrier.
  5. Pay the return shipping postage and ship to the following location:

Note: Once LOFT receives your package, a refund will be credited depending on the return policies. If you use the pre-paid return label, LOFT will deduct $7.95 from your reimbursement. LOFT will send a confirmation email once the return process is completed.

  • Be sure to wait at least 24 hours after your entire order is delivered before starting the return methods.
  • Ensure your email address is correct and the same as when you placed the order.
  • Ensure your order number is entered accurately and as it appears in the first paragraph of your order confirmation message.
  • Ensure you’re using the correct site for the LOFT brand and where you submitted your order. You’ll need to use the exact site where you purchased your products.
