You Need to Make a Deposit if You’re Paying in Cash
If you opt for cash, you’ll need to make a deposit when you pick up your rental equipment. Here are the deposits if you’re paying in cash:
- In-Town Rental Truck: $100 or estimated rental charges (whichever is higher)
- One-Way Rental Vehicle: $100 plus rental rate
Keep in mind that Cargo Vans and Pickup Trucks cannot be reserved with cash payments. These vehicles must be reserved with a credit card.
You Pay Upfront
You’ll need to pay the total estimated charges for your rental vehicle or towing equipment upfront, regardless of your payment method.
Keep in mind that cash is accepted for pickup and van rentals. However, you’ll still need to present a valid credit or debit card with a significant bank logo with your name on it.
