You could contact the driver and stay on him about updates. You want to know where your food is at all times and there is also a map system where you can see if the driver is even moving or on his way to you. What do you do if the order never comes?
If your order is taking so long that you feel it is not coming, contact customer support at DoorDash. Demand that they do something to reimburse you for your order. They will probably try to give you some sort of credit and you can choose whether you will accept it or not.
Why Is The Driver Not Responding?

Keep contacting them and be patient. Give them time to respond to your message and if they still do not answer and never arrive you will need to reach out to DoorDash. You may also have to count this order as a lost.
