HomeGoods Return Policy

HomeGoods processes thousands of in-store and online purchases each month. Some customers need to return products or exchange faulty items. HomeGoods has a comprehensive return policy in place for these situations.

So, what is the HomeGoods Return Policy, and which products can you refund? We cover everything you need to know in the article below.

What Is the HomeGoods Return Policy?

Customers can return new and unused merchandise for a full refund in the original payment form to HomeGoods after 30 days of purchase, as long as they have a receipt. If a customer doesn’t have a receipt or it’s been more than 30 days, they will receive in-store credit.

Standard Return Policy for Items Purchased in Stores

HomeGoods allows customers to return or exchange merchandise in a variety of circumstances. Here are some basics to keep in mind:

  • You can return a product within 30 days of purchase for an exchange or refund in the original payment form.
  • A 10-day timeframe is necessary for cash refunds on check purchases.
  • Returns with a receipt over 30 days, gift receipts, or orders without receipts will only be eligible for in-store credit. In-store credit is subject to the HomeGoods Terms and Conditions.

Note: Refunds and exchanges may also be declined based upon the HomeGoods verification system to reduce fraudulent activity. The verification system is utilized to process and track refunds to help the loss prevention program.
